At first glance, he seems like a cold hearted and strict person. He does not smile nor show much emotions. His emotionless personality is probably due to the fact that he is noble so he feels superior from everyone else. He believes that it is his responsibility as a noble to be a perfect role model for the rest of the shinigami, therefore his devotion in following the rules are high. There are a view occasions though where he is out of character, such as marrying Hisana and adopting Rukia which he considers an execption
2 days later, Rukia's trial was being held at the Sokokyu hill ,Byakuya goes to attend it.But before the exection can be carried out Ichigo intervenes once again ,this time pushing back the Sokokyu and destroying the frame that holds rukia in place both of which have a power of a million zanpakuto's ,Byakuya then fights Ichigo to prevent him as well as his sister from escaping from the hill alive, through a series of flash steps ;Byakuya comes to understand that Ichigo has become a bit moire powerful so he decides to release his Zanpakuto's Shikai (Initial Release) ,but after much irritation due to Ichigo's constant questioning of Byakuya to release his Bankai; Byakuya goes ahead and uses it, Ichigo tries to dodge the senbonzakura kageyoshi but can't keep up with it's speed and gets hurt real bad , Ichigo then releses his own bankai , After a few minutes of fighting it becomes apparent to Byakuya that it is impossible for him to win like this,so he uses his Bankai's second form ,Senkei Senbonzakura Kageyoshi (Scene of a massacre). This form does not affect Byakuya's speed but removes all the defensive power that the original form of his bankai had.
Later on ,after the events of Aizen and the other traitors are relesed to the public ,Byakuya shows up on the Sokokyu hill to save rukia ,preventing her from getting killed ,but instead takes the sword aimed at her unto himself.After Aizen and the other traitors leave to Hueco Mundo ,Byakuya apologizes to Rukia for not having tried to save her and tells her all about why she was taken into the Kuchiki clan (this was due to Hisana's dying wishes), he also explains that twice before he had broken the Kuchiku family rules by marrying Rukia's sister (Hisana) and by letting Rukia enter the Kuchiki clan. After he had broken these two rules he had promised on his parents graves that he would never again break the family rules.

Ichigo’s name can be undestood in many ways. Officially, Ichigo's name means "Ichi" for "One" and "Go" for "Protector", as explained by him in episode 21 to Ikkaku. Other versions would say that his "Ichigo" can translate to "Strawberry", as a reference to his hair, or that the separation of the name into "Ichi" and "Go" can mean "one" and "five"; this can be seen as both his age, and the number-sign that appear on his room door.
• Personality Description
On first impression, people would say Ichigo is an anti-social though guy; this is however a front he sets up towards other people. Only those who he calls friend truly knows the depths of his character, seeing him as determined, compassionate, and driven by the need to do what is right, no matter the personal loss to himself. As a Shinigami, he possesses more endurance than experience, which leads to alot of scolding from higher skilled people for his lack of skill but in time they see how deep his potential is and are even more amazed by how fast he grows in skill. It is seen that his determination is his true strength, forcing him to push onward where anyone else would quit, and even to surpass his own limitations when the need arises.
However from the moment he had regained his Shinigami powers a darker being was awakend in his soul; mostely refered as Inner-hollow or Inner-Ichigo. This personality only started to take over when Ichigo reached the power of bankai and was about to die. This part of Ichigo fights with supreme understanding of the use of Zangetsu and unlike the kind Ichigo he fights without hesitations ad only pauzes for arrogant taunts. The main objective of the Inner-hollow is to get complete control over Ichigo’s body. But thanks to the Vaizard training he was able to overcome his Inner-hollow and gain his power, but he did get the warning that if Ichigo would ever lose his determination and be on the brink of death that he would take over once again.
• Character History
Kurosaki Ichigo is the main character of the ''Bleach'' series , a fifteen year old high school student from Karakura High who has the power to see ghosts. By the age of three, he had already begun training in the martial arts, leading him to meet Tatsuki Arisawa for the first time. When he was nine years old, his mother was killed when he tried to save a person from commiting suicide. He later learned it was a hollow named Grand Fisher who killed his mother. The result of his mother's loss took a great toll on him, bringing him as far as to blame himself for the event.
Ichigo held his head up high since his mother died considering he was a cry baby when he was young. Ichigo's lifestyle has been rough ever since childhood; he was picked on when he was young due to his unusually colored hair, which resulted in his stick to himself attitude. By age 15, he had developed a reputation within his school as trouble; as a result, he works hard to keep his grades, if for nothing more than to spite those teachers who look upon him with negative views. His tough guy attitude, combined with martial arts training and naturally gifted physique, gives him the power to fight to defend himself and others who are in the need of help. The high spiritual powers he possesses also leads him to protect the memory of those spirits who linger on, defending their memorial sites from those who didn't show their respect.
Ichigo’s life drastically changes after he met a shinigami girl named Kuchiki Rukia. Kuchiki Rukia is a Shinigami (which is translated as death god/soul reaper in English) from Soul Society. Ichigo acquired the Shinigami powers from Rukia when a Hollow invaded the Ichigo residence and threatened the life of his two sisters Yuzu and Karin and the hollow left Shinigami Rukia unable to defend them; so she decided to give her powers to Ichigo to kill the hollow and to protect his family. Rukia only intended to transfer some of her powers to Ichigo but like manifest destiny Ichigo took all her powers and became a Shinigami with unique powers.
So Ichigo's life starts a new as a Shinigami, as he battles endless hollows to protect the people he cares for and the helpless. Rukia having no power left to return to soul society has to stay by Ichigo's side by the use of a Gigai and as she waits to regain her energy she teaches Ichigo the Shinigami ways and all she knows. But when Ichigo drove back a Menos Grande; he found Rukia missing the next evening and found a letter from her which said goodbye and thanks. Ichigo immediatly went after her but she was already found by 2 people from Soul Society; one of them was Rukia’s brother. Ichigo learned that the transfer of Shinigami powers was a felony and Rukia would be punished, with this knowledge he fought the other guy named Abarai Renji. At first he was losing but he suddenly boosted his spirit power and before he could finish Renji, Rukia’s brother named Byakuya fataly injured Ichigo and broke his Zanpakutou in two. In order to let Ichigo survive she agreed to go back to Soul Sociey and face punishment. The last she said to Ichigo was not to follow him and then the 3 dissapeared through a gate. Ichigo lay down, dying on the ground but was saved by a mysterious merchant named Urahara Kisuke; an exiled shinigami. Ichigo had lost his Shinigami powers he had from Rukia but he then learned he had his own Shinigami powers deep within his soul during the training he got from Urahara in order to save Rukia. He then went to Soul Society with his classmates: Chad, Inoue, Ishida & a talking cat named Yoruichi, in order to save Rukia.
Where Ichigo had entered Soul Society as below the level of a Lieutenant, he left there as a Shinigami of high renown, having defeated four Lieutenants, as well as Captains Zaraki Kenpachi and Kuchiki Byakuya, in his short time there. As proof of his skill, he was awarded with a Medallion by Shinigami Captain, Ukitake Jyuushiro, signifying Kurosaki as a Substitute Shinigami, recognized by Soul Society as an ally.
Once back in the human world Ichigo continued fighting normal hollows and led a normal live, this however did not last very long. A mysterious person, Shinji (a person who just joined his class) attacked Ichigo with a Zanpaktou while Ichigo was looking for hollows. Shinji then explained that he was a Vaizard (a masked soldier in English) and that he was the same as Ichigo. He told Ichigo that he wanted him to join the Vaizards but Ichigo refused and went off to a strong hollow energy. When he got there he found Chad severely injured and Inoue about to be attacked, with strong determination he went into bankai and sliced of the arm of the human-like hollow. But Ichigo’s Inner-hollow wants to surface which renders Ichigo unable to fight and he gets injured pretty bad. Luckily he was saved by Urahara and Yoruichi. After that event a team from Soul Society, which included Rukia, came undercover in Gigai’s to Ichigo’s school. Hitsugaya leaded this team and explained everything about the two hollows he had faced, which were created by Aizen, the Arrancars. That night a group of Arrancars came to Ichigo’s town to kill everyone with an above average spirit power. Ichigo joined the Soul Society team but he saw an Arrancar which was even more powerfull then the ones he faced before pierce Rukia with his bare hand. This Arrancar was a higher level, Espada Nr. 6 called GrimJaw. Ichigo went into bankai again and was able delivering only a scar by using Getsuga Tenshou (the only technique he learned from Zangetsu, and also used against Byakuya as his final move), after he did that Ichigo’s Inner-hollow started trying to take over again, once again Ichigo was defensless but GrimJaw couldn’t kill him because Tousen told him to go back to the hollow world. This incident was the last drop for Ichigo and he went to seek out the Vaizards in order to get control over his powers. Once he got there he made clear that he wouldn’t join them but he did wan’t the training to supress his Inner-hollow. He then learned how to do this and how to summon the mask which gave him the power the Inner-hollow uses. But until now he can only maintain the mask 14 seconds, he fought this way when GrimJaw came after him again but the mask broke before he could deliver the final blow, Ichigo was drained from his powers but Rukia interfered but that didn’t stop GrimJaw long and Rukia was about to get killed but at the last second Shinji saved them. Ulquirra saved GrimJaw and said that their mission was complete. The day after they found out Inoue was now in Hueco Mundo (hollow world), the leaders from Soul Society think she joined up with Aizen but Ichigo gets angry when he hears this because he knows that could never be true. Ichigo asks for Soul Society to lead him into Hueco Mundo so he can save Inoue but they refuse to help him. Of course Ichigo is determined to save her so he heads to Urahara, who to Ichigo’s suprise had already made the preparations to go after Inoue. The bigger suprise for Ichigo was that Chad & Ishida were coming along with the same determination. And so they went into the darkness of Hueco Mundo.

What Hitsugaya means is something I don’t know. Toushirou can be split into two however, “tou” can be a refference to Hitsugaya’s Zanpaktou since it can both mean “sword’ and “be frozen over”, they proppably mean both since Hitsugaya’s Zanpakutou is of the ice type. The other part of his name “shiro(u)” means white, which most proppably reffers to his hair color.
• Personality description
Hitsugaya can be characterized as somewhat of a take-charge type of character in Bleach. He is one of the most serious and responsible captains, far surpassing his own age maturity. He cares for Hinamori very much which is why he threatens to kill Gin if Hinamori would spill any blood and when he goes beserk on Aizen when he finds Hinamori assumingly dead. Because he’s still young some people call him “Shorty” which is something that can also get him angry but people have learned to stopped calling him this because they value their live. The only person he can endure this from is Hinamori. In his everyday-life he has a cold attitude and is on the silent type. He has also a mysterious aura about him because he always seems to be thinking about something and little is known about his past.
• Character history 
When he was still a boy Hinamori endearingly refers to him as Whitey-chan. At that moment in time as Hinamori was working to become a Shinigami, Hitsugaya thought nothing of it because all he wanted was to eat watermelon and for Hinamori to stop calling him Whitey-chan. She told him that if he could be at the same level as she was then she would stop calling him Whitey-chan, but Hitsugaya had no intrest of joining the Sinigami. It is unknown how or why he actually got into the academy, and rose to a captain level, considering Hinamori joined way, way before him, but nontheless, Hitsugaya is considered a genius and is now captain of the 10th Division, Hitsugaya is the youngest member of the Gotei 13, and wields the most powerful ice type Soul Slayer, Hyourinmaru.
What happens between that time is unknown, the next intel there is of him is when Ichigo’s group enters Sou Society and we see him after a captain’s meeting is over and he’s overhearing Aizen and Ichimaru. Aizen at first started to suspect Ichimaru of some evil plot development, quickly forcing Hitsugaya to catch on, until he became even more suspicious than Aizen. He acts on his suspicions warning Hinamori to watch out for the 3th division, espessialy Ichimaru, and also says to not let Aizen out of her sight. Hitsugaya’s suspicions seemingly turn into reality when Hinamori wakes up from a night spent at Aizen’s place to discover that he is not there and rushes off to a Vice Captain meeting. She takes a shortcut only to arrive on time to witness Aizen’s corpse situated on a wall with a sword pierced through his upper abdomen causing a trail of blood to run down the entire wall behind him. The situation goes from bad to worse as Ichimaru arrives and Hinamori attempts to attack him because he appeared to be the most likely suspect in this brutal murder. Kira jumps in to protect his superior from Hinamori’s emotional outburst but Hitsugaya intervenes before the two can truely injure eachother. He has them both arrested and makes the threat to Gin that if he makes Hinamori spill one drop of blood, he’ll be breathing his last breath. While Hinamori is in jail Matsumoto pays her a visit and hands her a letter addressed to her from Aizen, Hitsugaya found the letter in Aizen’s quarters and it turned out to be what he was scribing the night that Hinamori paid him a visit. Out of respect for Hinamori’s feelings he hadn’t turned in the letter as possibly murder evididence and also didn’t read the contents. But the letter held a warning of things to come and also reveals the schemes and plots of a certain someone among The Gotei 13.
After Aizen's death, Hitsugaya was dead bent on believing that Ichimaru killed him, and that he is up to no good at all. During the absence of the leaders of 5th Squad, Hitsugaya takes over their business and paperwork with the help of Matsumoto Rangiku, his Vice Captain. As they are settled in the Administrative Office word comes from one of their officers that Hinamori has escaped and they suspect that she is hunting down Ichimaru. Hitsugaya first goes to check out Kira’s holding cell which wasn’t forced open from the incide which meant someone let him out. He then rushes to the 3th division headquarters and finds Ichimaru together with Kira there on the roofs. Before he can attack Hinamori arrives and says she finally found him, and draws her sword but points it at Hitsugaya. Hinamori tells him what Aizen wrote in the letter; that he, Hitsugaya Toushirou, was the one that murdered Aizen. And then there is a face off between Hitsugaya, Hinamori, and Ichimaru. Hinamori attacks Toushirou as she whole-heartedly believed everything that Aizen wrote because she idolized the man for most of her Shinigami career. Hitsugaya strikes his confused friend in order to avoid further turmoil and then seeks to keep to his word of killing Gin if he ever made Hinamori spill blood. They fight with there regular Zanpakutous for a while but after a while Hitsugaya releases his Zanpakutou and continues the fight. The fight ceases when Rangiku appears after feeling the reiatsu of Hitsugaya’s shikai and stops Gin’s attack on Hinamori’s unconscious body. After this Gin simply walks away and says it’s better for them to treat Hinamori’s injuries then to fight him.
The letter was completely false as it depicted Hitsugaya as the one plotting to destroy Soul Society with the Soukyoku. At this instance Rukia’s execution had been frequently moved up until it will finally take place within 29 hours. Hitsugaya realizes that he needs to take action and he and Matsumoto quickly move to try and prevent the execution by trying to convince Central 46 Chambers (judgement descision system) to look into this matter before executing Rukia. But when they arrived there at the entrance there were no gate guards and even after cutting down the automated defense the alarm doesn’t sound off which shows something is wrong. As they enter they find al the doors unlocked and when they enter the main room they find the 46 members of the Central 46 Chambers brutally murdered. On closer inspection they find out that the people in there were dead for some time since the blood was already dried up and starting to get a black tint, then they see Kira on top of the stairs but he runs away but Hitsugaya and Rangiki immediatly chase him. During the chase Kira advices to check on Hinamori since she wasn’t in he barriered cell anymore but stealthy chasing Hitsugaya, Hitsugaya leaves Kira to Rangiku while he turns back to look for Hinamori. When he reaches the living quarters of Central 46 he sees Ichimaru and to a great shock Aizen who is still alive. He then learns Aizen and Ichimaru were partners from even before he joined the Gotei 13 and that Aizen simply used Hinamori as a pawn. Hitsugaya uses shunpo to flash past the two villains into the buolding behind them and finds Hinamori, Hitsugaya believes she’s dead and goes into a rage and immediatly releases his bankai and assaults Aizen head on but Hitsugaya was cut down in one strike. Luckily for him, Unohana was there to treat him and Hinamori after Aizen left.
A few days later, when Ichigo and his crew arrived back on earth, Hitsugaya, Rangiku, Renji, Rukia, Ikkaku and Yumichika were sent on an important undercover mission to earth to aid Ichigo and his crew against the oncoming threat of the arrancar. Hitsugaya learns how the hiearchy is set up by Aizen in Hueco Mundo by an over-talkative Arrancar named Qu Fong Shaw Long who meets his end by Hitsugaya’s bankai. After a few days he faces off another arrancar, espada class, and gets heavily injured but because Hitsugaya had enough time he was revived by using the water in the atmosphere which can allow him to revive him infinite times as long as he is conscious and has a bit of time. He then defeats the arrancar by using his Ice Prison technique but is unable to finish him off. The next day Hitsugaya learns that the arrancar that were sent the previous day were just a diversion so that Aizen could kidnap Inoue, and although they want to rescue her they receive orders to return to Soul Society.

“Renji” means “range” which is most likely a reffernce to his Zanpakutou, Zabimari, which he can use for fighting from a distance once he releases his Zanpakutou. It can also refer on how Renji wants to surpass Byakuya but that Byakuya is too far for him too reach.
• Personality description 
Overall, Renji seems to be overly aggressive and violent. He regularly has arguments with Ichigo, which tend to just be empty name-calling about how stupid the other is. But when it really comes down to it Renji is a kind person, he’s one of the most loyal friends someone could have; Renji would not hesitate to risk his live to help his friends out. Although Renji seems to be a person who acts only on his temper he is in fact a deep thinker and will do what is just in the end even if he has to defy his superiours. He’s also very determined once he sets his mind on something which gave Aizen trouble hypnotising Renji completely due to his atitude of relying only on himself.
• Character history
Renji’s history is connected with Rukia. In his childhood Abarai was part of Area 78, Inuzuri, South Alley of flowing spirit. He lived there along with Rukia and few other souls. Although he was very stubborn and trained everyday, Rukia had much more spiritual force what pissed off Renji. Living in Area 78 was very hard because of starvation, diseases and endless problems with water. Such a conditions caused death of Rukia’s and Renji’s friends. After that they both decided to join the Shinigami Academy. Originally, Rukia had shown the most promise as she was able to create bigger balls of energy, but Renji was the one who ended up in the advanced classes. Because they both came from one of the worst districts, they did their best to prove to the rest of the academy that they were just as good. While Renji excelled ahead and became friends with Hinamori Momo and Kira Izuru, Rukia lagged behind and didn't really become friendly with anyone. One day Rukia was taken by Byakuya to his nobble family. Renji had really torn feelings about this but he didn’t stop Rukia from going with Byakuya since he wanted that she could finally be in a family and so he closed his feelings to Rukia. In order to reclaim Rukia, Renji swore that he would surpass Byakuya and show him how strong he was.
When Renji first entered the squads a few years after Rukia, he was first placed in 5th squad under Aizen but was moved because he could have been a problem to Aizen. This is because he didn't want anyone nearby who could find out about his plans. In 11th squad, he became a friend of Ikkaku. When the time finally came that he was strong enough to become a vice-captain he was placed under the command of the 6th squad captain, Byakuya. They received orders to retreive Rukia from the real world since she has been there longer then allowed to, they quickly catch her at night when she was running away from Ichigo’s house so he wouldn’t get involved. Since Rukia hadn’t seen Renji for so long he displayed his power by attacking her but Ishida came in between but was proven to be no match. Then Ichigo arrived but Renji was overwhelming him until Ichigo suddenly boosted his Spirit Energy and gave Renji a serious beating but Byakuya stepped in who quickly made short work of Ichigo. This frustrated Renji since he once again realized how weak he was compared to his captain, they took Rukia back to Soul Society where she would be executed for transfering her Shinigami powers into a human. This came to a shock to Renji since he thought she would only get a minor punishment, but since this wasn’t the case he gets really angry but realizes he can’t go against the rules of Soul Society. When Ichigo breaks into Seireitei, Renji and Ichigo face off once again. The result is the same as their last battle with the exception that Renji isn’t saved from the finishing blow by Byakuya. Before losing consiousness he begs Ichigo to save Rukia since he doesn’t have enough strength himself. While recovering from his injuries he was put into prison by Byakuya for entering a battle and losing, in his cell Renji decided to save Rukia after seeing the resolve in Ichigo’s eye’s. He easily broke out of his cell but realized that he still wasn’t strong enough so he decided to train, while searching a good training spot he found Ichigo and informed him that he’d help and about Rukia’s execution date that would be the next day. He trained seperatly from Ichigo and achieved bankai in his own way.
He then rushed to Soukyou hill where Rukia’s execution would take place. He knocked out everyone who stood in his way until he felt Byakuya’s Spirit Energy. Byakuya asked Renji to stop his foolishness but Renji was determined to get to Rukia even if it meant fighting Byakuya. He was able to proof to Byakuya that he had grown extremely powerfull but still lacked the experience of using his bankai, Renji was deadly wounded by Byakuya’s bankai. He was however rescued by Unohana but this is never explained why, later Hannatorou showed up with Rikichi and healed the last of his wounds and provided him with new clothing since his other Shinigami clothers were torn. When Renji arrived at Soukyou hill, Ichigo had already stopped the execution. He tossed over Rukia (from really high) towards Renji and told him to get her to safety while he would deal with anyone who tried to stop them. Renji managed to escape but was intercepted by 9th squad captain, Tousen, who used a technique who brought them back to Soukyou hill. Aizen and Ichimaru were also there, Renji was suprised to see Aizen since he was assumed dead. Aizen told Renji to leave Rukia but Renji refused which led to an attack of Aizen. Renji got injured and his released Zanpakutou was ripped in pieces, just before Aizen could strike down Renji, Ichigo saved him and Rukia. They realized they couldn’t win but decided to fight together against Aizen nontheless, their combined attack was quickly countered and both Ichigo and Renji got severely injured, Renji lost consiousness so he couldn’t hear the story directly from Aizen. He learned when he got recovered about Aizen’s motives which was to obtain the Hougyoku (Crumbling Treasure). Since Rukia’s execution was just part of Aizen’s plan she was now free to be with the rest of the Shinigami again, while Ichigo and his friends returned to the real world.
After that he went to the real world with Rukia, Ikkaku, Yumichika, 10th squad vice-captain Matsumoto Rangiku, and 10th squad captain Hitsugaya Toushirou to help Ichigo fight the Arrancar. So far he has fought Ilforte Grantz, who was easy to beat once he had removed the limit on his powers. He is staying with Urahara during the operations. In order to gain information about Urahara himself who had put the Hougyoku in Rukia (next to inventing the thing), he has promised to help him with mindless jobs for three months, including helping Chad train. Later when Orihime is kidnapped he and the rest of his group are ordered back to Soul Society.
Kidou is one of the four powers possessed by shinigami. It is a type of magic technique used by shinigami. It's used by imagining a black circle in one's mind and then imagining moving towards the center of that circle. There are several different types of kidou. A bakudou is a restraint technique and a hadou is a destructive technique. Kuukaku Shiba has her own special type of kidou used for fireworks, which she calls Kakaku Shahou and Ganjuu Shiba has a spell of no classified type. The incantation of a kidou doesn't need to be spoken for it to be cast, however, there is a decrease in power. The higher the number of kidou, the greater the power decrease.

This ability paralyzes the target. It was first seen in the first episode. Rukia used this ability on Kurosaki Ichigo. It locks the hands to his back appearing as if he has handcuffs on.

This technique can allow contact with any person. It can also contact more than 1 person and can be used to located Spiritual force.
Bakudou 61: (Rikujoukouryou) Luminous Prison of 6 Bars
This is a Kidou used to bind strong opponents. This is much more effective than Bakudou 1.
Hadou 4: (Byakurai) White Lightning
A powerful attack that casts lighting from the casters finger.
Hadou 31: (Shakkahou) Artillería Carmesí
Shoots a red fire like ball of spiritual energy from users hand.
